1.       Approximately how many residential backflow assemblies are there now?
    1. Last summer we sent an intern out to identify homes with sprinkler systems and there were about 4,400 homes with some kind of system.  At this time we only have about half of those in our system, but we plan to notify and get the others into compliance.
  2.       Will the City of Central Point be notifying all residential customers of the implication of this program?
    1. We have already put it in the newsletter that gets circulated to all the customers and plan to run it again. 
  3.       Would multi-family homes be included in this program?
    1. Only duplexes.
  4.       Would the City of Central Point be charging the residential customer for repairs and materials used?
    1. No not at this time.
  5.       What will the City of Central Point be charging the residential customer for this testing service?
    1. $1.00 per month for those with backflows and $0.25 without.
  6.       Will all Central Point residential customers be charged for this program even if they don’t have any                  backflow assemblies listed in the City of Central Point program?
    1. Yes
  7.       Will the City of Central Point provide door hanging notices for the completion “passing” of the testing or        access needed to provide the testing?
    1. No, you may use your own.
  8.       Will the City of Central Point accept electronic test reporting from the testing contractor in which the           data can be transferred to the City program or would the City of Central Point require a paper test                  report?
    1. Yes if it is compatible with the software we use (XC2).
