School Resource Officers (SROs)

Officers Mike Jones and Cam Cunningham are the School Resource Officers (SROs) for Central Point schools. 

Our SROs provide many services to our schools, including:

• Providing law enforcement and police services to the school, school grounds, and areas.
• Working to prevent juvenile delinquency through close contact and positive relationships with students.
• Establishing and maintaining a close partnership with school administrators in order to provide for a safe school environment.
• Being visible within the school community and attending and participating in school functions.
• Developing and implementing classes in law-related education to support the educational efforts of the faculty.
• Working with guidance counselors and other staff to assist and provide services to students involved in situations where referrals to service agencies are necessary.
• Assisting in conflict resolution efforts.
