Keep the Stream Clean: Maintain Drainage Channels

With seven creeks in the City, keeping them clear of brush and debris is a very important step to prevent flooding during high water events. From mid-June to mid-September private and public landowners are allowed to enter the creek to remove overgrown blackberries, fallen limbs and any other debris that might be found.  Street crews maintain City property as well as the walls of our bridges. It is the homeowner's responsibility to maintain the creek on their property.
