The Planning Commission provides recommendations to the City Council regarding land use policy matters related to the city’s growth, housing and most aspects of urban development, and conducts quasi-judicial hearings on land use applications.  The Planning Commission consists of seven citizen volunteers appointed by the City Council.  Each Planning Commission member serves a four year term.

Planning Commission meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 140 South 3rd Street in Central Point, Oregon.  Meeting agendas and supporting documents are part of the Planning Commission Packet, which is typically available 7 days in advance of the meeting date.
