Open House for Downtown (East Pine Street) Streetscape Final Draft Design Review

The Open House will be Monday October 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at 140 South Third Street in Central Point, Oregon.

INVITATION

The City of Central Point would like to take this opportunity to invite you to a follow-up meeting to the Stakeholder and Community Workshop held on July 11, 2016 to comment on the final draft design for the East Pine Streetscape Design Project. The meeting will be held Monday, October 24, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

MEETING PURPOSE

As part of an overall plan for the beautification and re-vitalization of the downtown, the City Council in 2013 approved a Streetscape Concept Plan for the section of East Pine Street from the RR-Xing to 7th Street.  The City has since hired a consultant to prepare the final design based on stakeholder and community feedback provided at a community design workshop on July 11, 2016.  At this time, the City is inviting the community to comment on the final draft design for the East Pine Street Streetscape. 

At the Community Meeting, participants will receive a presentation detailing the various components of the final draft design, which will be followed by a discussion regarding the design and implementation of the final plan.  All community comments will be presented to the Development Commission for consideration before finalizing the design.
