NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTRAL POINT
City Council, April 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
Central Point City Hall, 140 S. 3rd Street, Central Point OR
The City of Central Point has prepared a Conceptual Land Use and Transportation Plan for Urban Reserve Areas (URAs) CP-5 and CP-6. These URAs are generally bounded by Grant Road on the east, Scenic Road on the north, and Beall Lane on the south.
The City invites property owners within the plan area who have expressed their wish to be included to participate in the review of the Conceptual Plan and to submit written comments about the proposal. You have received this notice because you have requested to be notified or signed an attendance sheet at an earlier meeting. A public presentation of this plan will be made to the City Council on Thursday, April 12th at the Central Point City Hall. The meeting will start at 7:00pm. This notice was mailed to property owners who have standing based on their participation at other public meetings on this subject.
CRITERIA FOR DECISION
The concept plan is a general land use guide prepared in accordance with, and intended to facilitate implementation of the Regional Plan Element. It does not address compliance with the Oregon Statewide Land Use Planning Goals or applicability of land use planning law. It is merely a guide. The conceptual plan will ultimately be adopted by City Council resolution and used in future Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) Amendments.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
- Citizens or interested parties are invited to attend the meeting referenced in this notice. Written comments may be submitted up until the close of business on the date this item is scheduled for the City Council. The Council will consequently make a decision to accept, modify or reject this concept plan.
- Written comments may be sent to Central Point City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, OR 97502.

SUMMARY OF PROCEDURE
After the City Council makes a decision about the CP-5/6 Concept Plan, a copy of that decision will be mailed to anyone who submitted written comments or who is otherwise interested in the outcome. The City File Number is: CPA-17001.
