MICHAEL PARSONS
Mike was born and raised in Oakland California attending Parochial schools, Skyline High School, and Samuel Merritt College majoring in Criminology and Administration of Justice.
Mike has been an Oregon resident since 1975, 16 of those years in Central Point.
In 1990 Mike acquired a Transportation Logistics Corporation based in Eugene, OR. He served as its CEO and CFO for 24 years. He retired in 2013 to care for his ailing wife (who passed in 2014) and returned to Central Point to be near grandkids. Returning to the Rogue Valley fulfilled a need, returning to Central Point was a choice as it is truly the most desirable middle sized town providing the safest environment because of the City's support of its Police Department, its programs, and its schools.
In his spare time Mike serves as a Volunteer for the Central Point Police Department in the V.I.P.S. (Volunteers in Police Service) Program. He also has served on the Board of Directors of The Meadows, a Central Point Senior Living Homeowners Association.
