NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CENTRAL POINT
City Council, February 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
Central Point City Hall, 140 S. 3rd Street, Central Point OR
Beginning at the above time and place, the Central Point City Council will consider adoption of the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Element covering a twenty (20) year planning period, 2018-2038. The Land Use Element addresses the purpose and scope of each land use classification in the City, and includes a map that assigns a land use classification to all land within the city limits and urban growth boundary. The proposal reflects changes in the text, goals and policies since the last amendment of the Land Use Element in 1983. Proposed map changes resolve errors/inconsistencies, incorporate changes proposed by others, and addresses changing conditions in the City. Applicant/Agent: City of Central Point.
Pursuant to ORS 197.763 (3) (e), failure to raise an issue during this hearing, in person or in writing, with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-makers and the parties an opportunity to respond to the issue will preclude an appeal based on that issue.
PUBLIC COMMENTS
- Any person interested in commenting on the above-mentioned land use decision may submit written comments up until the close of the public portion of the meeting scheduled for February 22, 2018 with the City Council.
- Written comments may be sent in advance of the meeting to Central Point City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, OR 97502 or by e-mail to don.burt@centralpointoregon.gov.
- Issues which may provide the basis for an appeal on the matters shall be raised prior to the expiration of the comment period noted above. Any testimony and written comments about the decision described above will need to be related to the proposal and should be stated clearly to the City Council.
- Copies of all evidence relied upon by the applicant are available for public review at City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, Oregon. Copies of the same are available at .25 cents per page.
