NATURE OF MEETING

Beginning at the above place and time the Central Point Planning Commission will consider the annexation of the W. L. Moore property comprising 3.16 acres. At the conclusion of their review they will make a recommendation to the City Council who will also conduct a public hearing and will take action on the annexation request. The site addresses are 3664 Grant Road and is identified on the Jackson County Assessor’s map as 37S 2W 10BC Tax Lot 2200. Applicant: W.L. Moore Construction, Inc; Agent: Herb Farber.

CRITERIA FOR DECISION

Criteria for the decision will be based upon requirements for annexation as set forth in ORS 222.125 (Annexation by consent of all owners of land and majority of electors); Proclamation of Annexation as well as CPMC 1.20 Annexation Procedure. 

PUBLIC COMMENTS

  1. Any person interested in commenting on the above-mentioned annexation may submit written comments to the City Recorder prior to the time of the public hearing(s).
  2. Written comments may be sent in advance of the meeting(s) to Central Point City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, OR 97502.
  3. Issues which may provide the basis for a decision on this matter shall be raised prior to the expiration of the comment period noted above.Any testimony and written comments about the annexation described above will need to be related to the proposal and should be stated clearly to the City Council.
  4. Copies of all evidence relied upon by the applicant are available for public review at City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, Oregon. The City File Number is: Annex - 19001.Copies of the same are available at 25 cents per page.

SUMMARY OF PROCEDURE

At the public hearing, the Planning Commission and City Council will review all written testimony, objections or remonstrance to the proposed annexation.  At the conclusion of the City Council hearing, the Council may adopt, modify or reject the resolution annexing the property.
