Application Summary

The City Council will consider a request to annex 8.47 acres of land including 7.57 acres planned and zoned for medium density residential use in the Low Mix Residential (LMR) zoning district and 0.90 acres of adjacent right-of-way on Hamrick Road. Once annexed into the city limits the property will be subject the Central Point Municipal Code requirements for land use and development.

Public Hearing Notice

The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the above-mentioned annexation request at the City Council meeting on January 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. You are invited to attend the public hearing in person at 140 South 3rd Street in Central Point in the City Council Chambers or virtually via Zoom. To request a link to the meeting, please contact the City Recorder by 12:00 p.m. on the day of the hearing.

Written and oral testimony on the applications conformance with annexation approval criteria may be submitted up until the close of the public hearing. 

Approval Criteria

Annexations are subject to approval criteria in Central Point Municipal Code (CPMC) 1.20,  and Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 222.125.
