Marion and Eilene had five children all who attended Crater high School. Their children, Vicki, Connie, Janis, Julie, and Scot, blessed them with seventeen grandchildren and, at the time of Marion's death, nineteen great grandchildren. Marion was a member of the local post of the American Legion for several years and he and Eilene were members of the Central Point Community Bible Church for over fifty years. Marion and Eilene's children learned the value of hard work, the importance of honest, integrity, and character by the example they set.
