  • Joe served for four years (2002 - 2006) at Ft. Riley, Kansas with the 3rd Brigade, 1st Armored Division. Deploying to Baghdad, Iraq in 2003-2004 and 2005-2006.
  • Joe served for a year a half (2008-2010) in Camp Casey, South Korea with the 1st Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division.
  • Joe served for two years (2010-2012) at Ft. Knox, Kentucky and Ft. Moore (Benning), Georgia with the Maneuver Center or Excellence teaching Maneuver and Reconnaissance tactics.
  • Joe served a year (2012-2013) in Kabul, Afghanistan with the NATO Training Mission Afghanistan (NTMA)
  • Joe served three years (2013-2016) at Ft. Carson, Colorado with the 3rd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division and the 4th Infantry Division Staff. Deploying to Germany in 2016 to support Operation Atlantic Resolve to deter Russian aggression in Eastern Europe.
  • Joe served for seven years (2016-2013) at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington with the 189th Combined Arms Training Brigade and I Corps Headquarters. Deploying to Saudi Arabia (2019-2020) and throughout the Pacific (2020-2023).

Who is this Veteran? Joe enlisted in the US Army in 1996 as a Helicopter mechanic. He was accepted to West Point in 1997. Graduating in 2001, he was commissioned as an Armor Officer. He led soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan in three combat deployments. He retired at Joint Base Lewis-McChord as a Lt. Colonel in 2023.
