Mayor Henry (Hank) Williams

Hank Williams has proudly served as the Mayor of Central Point since being elected in 2002.

Hank Williams was born on a family farm south of Klamath Falls, Oregon. Both parents were Oregon Natives. He attended California State Polytechnic College for two years before being drafted into the U.S. Army. After his military service he obtained a bachelors degree in Business Administration from Sacramento State College.

Hank and his wife, Hope moved to Central Point in the summer of 1966. He held managerial positions with Southern Oregon Production Credit Association and with First Interstate Bank. Hank served as a manager for Western Bank in Medford and Central Point before retiring. After only a few month of retirement he went to work part time for Premier West Bank in Central Point.

In his spare time Hank served on the Jackson County Fair Board from 1987 to 1994 and was President in 1993.

During the 40+ years Hank and Hope have lived in Central Point many changes have occurred including a large increase in a population that continues to grow.

Term: Elected in 2002; 2004; 2006; 2008; 2010; 2012; 2016; and 2020. His current term ends December 31, 2024.
