James Rice served in the Marine Corps for 20 years, including two tours in Vietnam. He was known for his intelligence, his sense of humor, and his ability to fix almost anything. An accomplished marksman, he served on the NRA Board of Directors, as Range Director for the National High Power Rifle matches, and competed internationally on the U.S.A. Veterans Rifle Team.
