Flood Maps & Data
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) produces Flood Insurance Studies and Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM). The City's first FIRM was published in 1982. This was updated in 2011 and revised in September 2016 to reflect floodway mitigation activities in the Twin Creeks Development. The City has these maps available at City Hall.
The FIRM is divided into several zones based on the severity of flood risk to that area. Here is a guide to help understand flood hazard areas and flood zones
