Criminal Investigations Division

The mission of the Central Point Police Department Criminal Investigations Division (CID) is to provide the highest quality of investigational support to our police officers by conducting thorough and timely investigations. CID works the more serious crimes in our city to include homicide, robbery, child abuse, serious physical assault, financial abuse, and other cases. Our CID Detectives have a vast knowledge of investigational skills, experience, and an impeccable work ethic along with the motivation and dedication for solving crime in our city.

Our CID detectives work closely with the Jackson County District Attorney's Office, the Children's Advocacy Center, and many other local, state, and federal organizations. These strong professional relationships ensure that our citizens are getting the best possible resources available during an investigation.
