Information Technology

History

The City of Central Point Police Department has been responsible for the management of Citywide Information Technology (IT) duties since October of 2006.

Having the Police Department responsible for IT provides many benefits.  It allows all IT employees to undergo a background check equivalent to that of Police Officers including a psychological evaluation.
