Property and Evidence

The Central Point Police Department has one full-time Certified Property/Evidence Technician. The Property/Evidence Technician is responsible for the collection, packaging, storing, transporting, and preservation of all types of evidence.

Property/Evidence Technician Beyer uses sophisticated computer bar coding systems to track evidence kept at the Central Point Police Department as well as evidence that is sent elsewhere for forensic testing. She is also available to respond to crime scenes or search warrants to assist in the physical seizure of evidence.

If you need to retrieve items that belong to you and are in the custody of the Central Point Police Department, please note that you must have an appointment. You can call Donna Beyer at 664-5578 to arrange for the pickup of property.
