Vehicle Impound Information

Central Point Police impounds vehicles for several reasons. These include:

  • DUII

  • Driving Uninsured

  • Driving While Suspended / Revoked

  • Driving Without Operating Privileges

  • Vehicle is Evidence in a Crime

If you need to get a vehicle out of impound follow these steps:

1. The REGISTERED OWNER must go to the Central Point Police Department and show proof of ownership of the vehicle (title or registration card), proof of valid insurance on the vehicle, and a valid driver's license. If the registered owner does not have a valid driver's license, another person may accompany them to get the vehicle out of impound.

2. Have $75.00 Cash

Once this information and money is provided, the registered owner will receive a receipt, and a release form. This form can be taken to Star Body Works to retrieve the vehicle.

Star Body Works is located at:

1024 Summit Avenue - Medford (corner of West McAndrews & Summit)
