Kristine Allison was born and raised in Central Point, Oregon by her parents Jim and Marilyn Duman . Lt. Allison attended Mae Richardson Elementary, Scenic Middle School and graduated from Crater High School in 1991.
In 1991 Lt. Allison was hired by the Oregon State Police as a Patrol Cadet and was stationed out of Coos Bay, Oregon. Lt. was transferred to the Fish and Game Division as a Cadet and worked the Rogue River Unit until 1994.
In 1994, Lt. Allison was hired by the Phoenix Police Department as a Reserve Officer and Official sworn in as a patrol officer in 1996. Due to a funding crisis for the city of Phoenix Lt. Allison was ultimately laid off by the department. This gave Lt. the opportunity to leave the valley and work for the Lincoln City Police Department from 1996 to 1998. During her employment with the Lincoln City Police Department, Kris was a Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer, Officer in Charge.
In August 1998, Lt. Allison was hired by the Central Point Police Department. During her employment with the Central Point Police Department Lt. Allison has held the position of Patrol Officer, Field Training Officer and Detective. Lt. Allison has been involved in many community organizations and has sat on the Board of Directors for the Southern Oregon Financial Fraud and Securities team for six years. Kris is currently the President of the Southern Oregon Investigator’s Association and the Vice President of the Oregon Homicide Investigators Association.
In 2006, Lt. Allison entered in to a degree completion program with Southern Oregon University and graduated in 2007 with Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. In 2008 Lt. Allison was accepted to Boston University and graduated in September of 2009 with a Master Degree in Criminal Justice.
With all of her accomplishments, it must be noted that her greatest achievements by no measure, are her two children and being married to her husband, Senior Trooper Jeff Allison with the Oregon State Police who have made the most sacrifices to allow Lt. Allison to be here in this position today.
