Planning Commission Meeting--Cancelled

This letter is to inform you that the Central Point Planning Commission meeting has been cancelled and the Commission will NOT consider the following two applications relative to construction of a Vietnam War Memorial replica at Don Jones Park:

A conditional use permit application (File No. 15018) pursuant to § 17.76, Conditional Use Permits of the Central Point Municipal Code; and,

A site plan and architectural review application (File No. 15020) pursuant to § 17.72, Site Plan & Architectural Review of the Central Point Municipal Code.

The applicants, Southern Oregon Veteran’s Benefit (SOVB) requested that the City remove their item from the agenda and asked that their proposal be considered at a later date. The City will re-notice the applications and interested parties will receive copies of that notice. If you or someone you know wishes to be kept informed of this item, they may visit City’s website or contact the Community Development Department as noted below.
