The Central Point Parks Department will be conducting a series of neighborhood meetings at various parks during the months of April, May and June. The Neighborhood Park meetings are an informal meeting between the parks staff and any interested citizens. These meeting offer an opportunity for informal communication between residents who live near, or use the parks, and city staff. Although all issues may not be resolved, the Neighborhood Park meetings will allow for citizen input and discussion regarding what you would like to see in your neighborhood park, your concerns, and what you like about the park. The meetings also offer an opportunity for staff to explain maintenance "best practices" used by the city. The meetings can best be described as a chance to learn more about your neighborhood park.
