Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: gut the existing building, remodel and installation of restroom facilities including fixtures. This project will help the City meet its objectives of having serviceable restroom facilities that comply with current ADA requirements and better handle the volume that is generated at park events.
Work shall begin no earlier than March 31, 2014 and shall be completed by May 30, 2014.
No bid will be received or considered by the City of Central Point unless the bid statement is signed by bidder.
This project is public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This project is subject to Oregon prevailing wage rates.
The City of Central Point may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding by the City of Central Point that it is in the public interest to do so.
Sealed bids will be opened and read publicly at the City of Central Point, City Hall, 140 South 3rd Street, Central Point, 97502 at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, March 18, 2014. Bids must be submitted to Matt Samitore, Parks & Public Works Director, at the same address prior to 2:00 p.m. PDT on the above date. Subcontractor Disclosure forms must be submitted prior to 4:00 p.m. PDT on the same date.
Bidders must be pre-qualified in order to be eligible for award. Pre-qualification may be with the City of Central Point, City of Medford, or the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). If the bidder is disqualified in any of these jurisdictions, the bidder will be ineligible for this contract.
Award of contract will not be final until the later of: 1) three business days after Notice of Intent to Award is announced by the City of Central Point, or 2) the City of Central Point provides a written response to each timely protest, denying the protest and affirming the award.
On all projects, work performed by the Contractor’s own organization must be at least 30% of the awarded contract amount.
